Holocaust Survivors Outreach
One Step at a Time
Every month we are able to go to the supermarket and shop for items they need. The most exciting and important part of this outreach to Holocaust Survivors and others that Branch of Comfort (BOCA) ministers to with food and other household items, is that these precious senior citizens are able to choose food they like in the quantities they need rather than receiving a box of food and other products they cannot use.
SHABBAT Meal
Helping The Community
The “Shabbat meal” in Israel is a meal for the family, and is the “heart” of the week, after a whole day of preparation and good cooking. Families gather together on Friday evening for dinner. Branch of Comfort, in cooperation with House Generations, gives a hot meal to homeless people on Friday evening.
